Man facing multiple murder charges in Lothian love triangle

A man from Annapolis, West Virginia, has been indicted by an Anne Arundel grand jury for first and second-degree murder charges, as well as other offenses. The victims in the case, a 25-year-old woman and a 40-year old man, were found on Oct. 5, after the 45-year-old woman allegedly called police to say that her husband was dead. She tried to convince police that it was a suicide; however, the gun that was next to the victim wasn’t the gun that killed her husband.

According to reports, the 25-year-old woman and the husband and wife were involved in a sexual relationship. The 25-year-old woman was living with the couple and their 13-year-old daughter. At some point, the older woman was pushed out of the relationship, which caused a lot of tension in the house.

The 13-year-old daughter and her mother reportedly came up with a plan to kill the father/husband. The 13-year-old was in a relationship with the man who was indicted, and his help was allegedly enlisted to kill the older man and the 25-year-old woman. The man was shot and the woman was stabbed.

The wife and the daughter allegedly didn’t tell the same story about what happened. Police ended up charging the older woman, the 18-year-old man and the 13-year-old with murder. The older woman is facing two counts of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, manslaughter, solicitation to commit murder, conspiracy to commit murder and one count of use of a firearm in a crime of violence. If convicted, she would face the possibility of life in prison without parole. The 18-year-old man is facing the same charges except the solicitation charge. The 13-year-old is in a juvenile detention facility.

When facing such serious crimes as these, it’s important to build a strong defense that will challenge the prosecution’s evidence. An experienced criminal defense attorney can provide more information.
