3 convenience stores robbed in an hour: 2 arrested for theft

In Baltimore County, three 7-11 convenience stores were robbed within a time span of about an hour. The two suspects involved reportedly used a machete and a handgun to intimidate the clerks and customers so that they could rob the stores. The Maryland police have arrested two men whom they believe were involved in the alleged theft incidents.

Just before 11 p.m., the first 7-11 was allegedly robbed. During the reported attack, one man with a machete jumped over the counter to intimidate the clerk while another man with a handgun demanded money from a nearby customer. Approximately 30 minutes later, two men supposedly performed a routine similar to the one used at the first store to rob a second store.

Yet again, the same technique was allegedly used to rob a third 7-11 about 30 minutes after the second robbery. No one was injured in any of the robberies. Shortly after 12 a.m., the police received an anonymous tip about two suspicious suspects standing outside of a leasing store. When an officer attempted to approach the men, they purportedly ran, and they were arrested a short time afterwards. The arresting officer supposedly found a machete and a handgun on the suspects.

Despite the fact that the officer claims to have found a handgun and a machete on their persons, it is crucial to remember that more evidence will most likely be needed in order for the theft case to result in a conviction. For example, the Maryland prosecution will need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the two men themselves actually committed the crimes and that they used those exact weapons. Nevertheless, as the investigation and each individual's criminal processes continue, they would do well to protect their own legal rights while fighting for an optimal result.
